<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fit connecting structure of horizontal roofing materials in which a working width of a horizontal roofing material can be easily shortened to any width.SOLUTION: A fit connecting structure of horizontal roofing materials includes a female side fitting part formed in one of both side ends in parallel to the longitudinal direction of the horizontal roofing materials using strip-shaped metal plates, and a male side fitting part formed in the other of the metal plates and fitted in the female side fitting part. The fit connecting structure is configured such that the female side fitting part is horizontally roofed sequentially toward the upper part while being fitted and connected with the male side fitting part of the roofing materials of the upper stage side toward the building side. A lower piece of a connecting member folded back in a bifurcated shape bent in a substantial U-shape or an acute angle V-shape with a cross section facing sideways has a length to be projected from the projecting end of the female side fitting part projected on the roofing material surface when the lower piece of the connecting member is inserted in a gap between the roofing material surface and the female side fitting part, and the tip of the male side fitting part is inserted and fitted in the gap at the lower side of the female side fitting part.</p> |
