<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear structure which securely supports a worm and biases the worm against a worm wheel, and to provide an electric power steering device.SOLUTION: A gear structure 1A includes: a worm 10; a worm wheel 20 which engages with the worm 10; a second bearing 40 including a second inner ring 41 which externally fits on the worm 10 and a second outer ring 42 disposed at the outer side of the second inner ring 41 and supporting the worm 10 in a radial direction; a housing 60 which houses the second bearing 40; and a magnetic force support device 100 which is disposed between the second outer ring 42 and the housing 60 and supports the second outer ring 42 while floating the second outer ring 42 from the housing 60 at an entire periphery by a magnetic force. The magnetic force support device 100 includes: an attraction magnetic force unit which biases the worm 10 to the worm wheel 20 by an attraction magnetic force F1; and a repulsion magnetic force unit which biases the worm 10 to the worm wheel 20 by a repulsion magnetic force F2.</p> |
