PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further minimize the size of the entire of a brake controller and improve assembly workability by effectively utilizing a space around a master cylinder.SOLUTION: A brake controller 1 includes: a master cylinder 2 generating brake pressure in response to pedaling force of a brake pedal; an electric motor 3 controlling operation of the master cylinder 2; a control substrate 4 controlling the electric motor 3; and a front housing 7 to which the master cylinder 2 is fixed. The control substrate 4 is arranged in a bending manner along the peripheral direction of the master cylinder 2 while making a component-mounting surface 40 direct in the axis direction of the master cylinder 2. A current-carrying terminal having current-carrying parts 47a-47c to which bus bars 31a-31c extended from the electric motor 3 are electrically connected while a substrate housing part 5 housing the control substrate 4 is mounted on a front housing 7, is arranged to a portion near the electric motor 3 of the component-mounting surface 40. |
