PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat storage brick for a heat storage heater having sufficient heat storage capacity not to impair its heat storage function, and capable of stable product supply with little deformation during a manufacturing step.SOLUTION: There is provided a firing heat storage brick for a heat storage heater having MgO of 20 mass% to 80 mass% and FeOof 10 mass% to 70 mass% as a chemical component, and having sum of MgO and FeOof 90 mass% or more. An iron oxide raw material having a bulk specific gravity of 3.50 or more is used as a source of FeO.
