PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device which secures suitable security on retransmission when facsimile transmission is failed.SOLUTION: A communication device includes: a first communication section; an acquisition section; a storage control section; a second communication section; and a transmission control section. The first communication section communicates with a portable terminal device with radio communication. The acquisition section acquires identification information, destination information and transmission data from the portable terminal device via the first communication section. The identification information identifies the portable terminal device. The storage control section stores the identification information and the destination information in a transmission history storage section in accordance with the transmission data. The transmission control section facsimile-transmits the transmission data from the second communication section in accordance with the destination information. The acquisition section re-acquires the identification information from the portable terminal device when facsimile transmission is failed. The transmission control section facsimile-transmits the transmission data which is made to correspond to matched identification information in accordance with the destination information corresponding to the matched identification information when the re-acquired identification information is matched with the identification information stored in the transmission history storage section. |
