<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode substrate for a touch panel, a touch panel using the same and an image display device using the touch panel, in which stripe shaped unevenness with light and shade caused by sensor electrodes (Ex, Ey) are less likely to be visually observed.SOLUTION: An electrode substrate 1 for a touch panel includes: a transparent insulating substrate 3; a mesh shaped sensor electrode Ex running in a first direction (X direction), on one surface of the transparent insulating substrate 3; and a mesh shaped sensor electrode Ey running in a second direction (Y direction) intersecting the first direction (X direction), on the other surface of the transparent insulating substrate. On at least one surface or the other surface of a part of the transparent insulating substrate 3, when looked through from a thickness direction (Z direction), there is formed a mesh shaped dummy electrode Ed being not in electrical contact with the mesh shaped sensor electrodes.</p> |
