<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent leakage of authentication information such as card information and biological information from an authentication server which is provided on a network.SOLUTION: In an authentication system 1, an information processing device 2 and an authentication server 3 are connected to a network. The information processing device 2 transmits an authentication request to the authentication server 3, and the authentication server performs user authentication on the basis of the authentication request. The information processing device 2 stores preliminarily registered user registration information in which identification information for each user registered in the authentication server 3 and authentication information other than a password are associated with each other, and retrieves the user registration information to acquire the identification information corresponding to the authentication information when an authentication information acquisition device 9 acquires the authentication information other than the password. The information processing device 2 generates an authentication request which only includes this identification information, transmits it to the authentication server, and switches to a logged in state on the basis of the authentication result of the authentication server 3.</p> |
