<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a flicker generated when an optical zoom magnification is varied.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: an optical system, including a plurality of lenses, capable of changing an optical magnification by moving the respective lenses to an optical axis direction; an iris for adjusting an amount of light in object light fetched through the optical system; an operation member operated when changing the optical magnification of the optical system; a prediction unit for predicting the iris value at image acquisition, using movement information of the plurality of lenses provided in the optical system, when the operation member is operated during the process of successive acquisition of the plurality of images; and an exposure calculation unit for calculating an exposure condition at the image acquisition, using the iris value predicted by the prediction unit.</p> |
