PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixation control apparatus configured to reduce the frequency of replacement and down time of a fixing apparatus, and to provide an image forming apparatus and a fixation control method.SOLUTION: A fixation control apparatus having a plurality of heating bodies and controlling a fixing apparatus for fixing an unfixed toner image formed based on image data to a recording material includes: an image existence determination unit which determines whether an image is included in each of areas formed by dividing the image data into a plurality of the areas; a heating body selection unit which selects a heating body located in a position corresponding to an area including the image, from the heating bodies; and a temperature correction unit which corrects fixing temperature in the heating body arranged near a faulty heating body which is included in the selected heating bodies.
