<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a studless tire excellent in wet performance, on-ice performance and abrasion resistance, and capable of reducing rolling resistance.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber composition for a studless tire containing a diene rubber, silica and a silane coupling agent, the diene rubber contains a natural rubber and/or a butadiene rubber, the silica is silica having a CTAB specific surface area of 50 to 300 m/g and its content is 3 to 100 pts.mass based on 100 pts.mass of the diene rubber, the silane coupling agent is a polysiloxane represented by a specific average composition formula and its contents is 2 to 20 mass% based on the content of the silica, and type A durometer hardness measured at 20°C according to JIS K6253 after vulcanization is less than 60.</p> |
