<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system of a universal head camera that allows an operator to perform automatic revolving or automatic circling from a desired photographing position by a simple operation.SOLUTION: A universal head camera system has: an imaging device; drive means that rotates the imaging device in at least one direction of a pan or tilt; control means that controls a drive of the drive means; storage means that stores at least one position of the pan, the tilt and a zoom as a preset position; and instruction means that instructs a transition to the preset position. When a movement instruction is instructed from the instruction means, the control means controls the drive means so as to drive to the preset position when a difference between positions of the pan, the tilt and zoom and the preset position is more than a predetermined threshold value, and when the difference is less than the predetermined threshold value, the control means controls the drive means so as to rotate in a predetermined pan direction and in a predetermined tilt direction, and stop at the preset position.</p> |
