<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas holder which is used for storing a by-product gas etc. generated in a blast furnace and a coke oven of an iron mill and efficiently and securely maintains an anticorrosive function and a gas leakage prevention function of a bottom plate, and to provide a bottom plate repair method of the gas holder.SOLUTION: A gas holder includes: a cylindrical gas holder body 1 for storing a gas; a lid shaped piston 2 which is installed so as to move up and down along an inner surface of a side wall of the gas holder body 1; and a bottom plate 5 installed at a bottom part of the gas holder body 1.
