A determining unit determines, for each request-destination event information piece, a correction allowable range of the time information by comparing the time information of the request-destination event information pieces with that of the requester event information pieces. A generating unit generates an information set by extracting, from the request-destination event information pieces arranged in chronological order according to the time information, chronologically consecutive request-destination event information pieces whose correction allowable ranges include a common value.

An information processing apparatus comprising: a processor configured to perform a procedure including: obtaining requester time information including time information pieces on a plurality of first processes executed by a first server;obtaining request-destination time information including time information pieces on a plurality of second processes executed by a second server in response to a plurality of execution requests output according to the plurality of first processes;calculating an execution period of each of the plurality of first processes and an execution period of each of the plurality of second processes based on the requester time information and the request-destination time information;calculating, with respect to each of the plurality of second processes, a correction range for the time information pieces such as to allow the execution period of the each of the plurality of second processes to be corrected to fall within the execution period of one of the plurality of first processes; andgenerating a set of time information pieces on second processes whose execution periods are chronologically consecutive and whose correction ranges satisfy a prescribed condition.
