An endoscope is provided with: an insertion section; a flexible member; a connecting member in which the inner periphery of a base end-side section is fixed to the outer periphery of the tip side of the flexible member; an outer cover that covers the outer periphery of the flexible member and that is positioned so as to be farther from the tip than the from the base end at the base end-side section; a first filler that is applied between the tip and the base end to the outer periphery of the flexible member: an annular member that covers at least the outer periphery of the first filler; and a second filler that is applied so as to continuously cover at least the outer periphery of the annular member and the outer periphery of the tip side of the outer cover. |
