OXIDIZING ALKALINE BIODECONTAMINATION GEL AND SURFACE BIODECONTAMINATION METHOD USING SAID GEL

The invention relates to a biodecontamination gel consisting of a colloid solution including 5 to 30 wt%, preferably 5 to 25%, and more preferably 8 to 20 wt% of at least one inorganic thickening agent relative to the weight of the gel; of an active biodecontamination agent consisting of the combination of an inorganic base, selected from among alkaline metal hydroxides, alkaline-earth metal hydroxides, and the mixtures thereof, and of an oxidizing agent that is stable in a basic medium and selected from among permanganates, persulfates, ozone, hypochlorites, and the mixtures thereof, the inorganic base being present in an amount of 0.05 to 10 mol/L of gel, preferably in an amount of 0.1 to 5 mol/L of gel, and the oxidizing agent, stable in a basic medium, being present in an amount of 0.05 to 5 mol/L of gel, preferably 0.1 to 2 mol/L of gel; optionally of at least one surfactant consisting of 0.1 to 2 wt% relative to the weight of the gel; and the rest of solvent; and gel not containing superabsorbent polymer. The invention also relates to a biodecontamination method using said gel.
