[Problem] To provide: a panoramic imaging head with which a plurality of images having different orientations in order to generate a panoramic image can be imaged with ease, and without any vignetting; and an imaging system using said panoramic imaging head. [Solution] This panoramic imaging system is characterized by comprising: a digital camera main body (20) which is capable of capturing digital images, and which has, provided to a front end thereof, a lens having a prescribed angle of view; a panoramic imaging head (10) coupled with a bottom surface of the digital camera main body; and a legged base (30) coupled with a bottom surface of the panoramic imaging head. The panoramic imaging system is also characterized in that the panoramic imaging head is provided with: a substantially horizontal upper plate body (11) provided with a second coupling means (110) for coupling with the digital camera main body (20) in a mutually non-rotatable manner; a vignetting-inhibiting extended body (12) which bends from the upper plate body (11) and extends downwards while maintaining a prescribed spacing, and which inhibits the inclusion of the head or the like in images; and a lower plate body (13) which continues on from a bottom end of the vignetting-inhibiting extended body (12), and extends substantially horizontally towards the front, and which is provided with a legged-base coupling means (130) for coupling with the legged base (30). Furthermore, the panoramic imaging system is characterized in that the legged-base coupling means (130) is provided in a position vertically below a nodal point (24) of the lens (21). |
