A surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) unit (1A) is provided with: an SERS element (2) having a substrate (21), and an optical functional part (20) that is formed on the substrate (21) and causes surface-enhanced Raman scattering; a conveying substrate (3) that supports the SERS element (2) when being conveyed, from which the SERS element (2) detaches when measurements are performed; and a holding part (4) that has sandwiching sections (41) that sandwich the SERS element (2) between the conveying substrate (3) and the holding part (4), and detachably holds the SERS element (2) on the conveying substrate (3). |
