<p>The purpose of the present invention is to culture cells while preventing the migration of the cells to the periphery of a culturing surface. A well (10) is equipped with a container main body (11) and a culture support (12). The culture support (12) has multiple pores formed on a culturing surface (12a) thereof on which cells are to be cultured, and is therefore formed unevenly. The percentage of the volume of a zone in the culture support (12), which is located between the culturing surface (12a) and an area located at a depth of 0.1μm, is 5 to 80% inclusive, and the culturing surface (12a) has an aperture ratio of 30 to 95% inclusive. The container main body is composed of a cylindrical member (15) made of polystyrene and a low-affinity part (16). The low-affinity part (16) is formed as a coating film that covers the inside surface of a side wall of the cylindrical member (15). The low-affinity part (16) is made of PEG and has lower affinity for cells compared with the culturing surface (12a).</p> |
