<p>An ink cartridge (10) for an ink jet printer can be detachably mounted on the ink jet printer. The ink cartridge comprises a negative pressure chamber (101) accommodating a negative pressure generation part (1011) for absorbing and retaining ink. An air inlet (104) for guiding external air into the ink cartridge and an ink outlet (103) for conveying the ink to the ink jet printer are disposed on the negative pressure chamber. The ink cartridge further comprises an ink chamber (102) for storing ink, and a separating plate (105) for dividing the ink cartridge into the negative pressure chamber and the ink chamber. A communicating opening (1051) for enabling the negative pressure chamber to communicate with the ink chamber is further disposed below the separating plate. The ink cartridge also comprises an ink guiding channel (108). One end of the ink guiding channel is connected to the communicating opening and the other end is located above the ink outlet, which can increase the speed of the air-liquid exchange between the two chambers, and ensure that the negative pressure generation part above the ink outlet always has ink retained, thereby solving the problem that the printing quality is affected, for example, the ink cartridge used by an existing ink jet printer is prone to printing broken lines during high-speed printing.</p> |
