<p>Provided are: a thermal switch having a simple structure, the heat transfer performance of which is able to be changed by means of temperature; a temperature regulating structure which is provided with this thermal switch; and a battery pack. A thermal switch (1) is provided with: a first protective layer (2); a second protective layer (3) that is arranged so as to form a pair with the first protective layer (2); and a thermal expansion member (4) which is joined to a surface of the first protective layer (2), said surface facing the second protective layer (3), and the volume of which reversibly changes with a change in the temperature. The thermal expansion member (4) and the second protective layer (3) face each other and are not in contact with each other at normal temperature by having a gap (5) therebetween. The size of the gap (5) is determined so that the thermal expansion member (4) and the second protective layer (3) come into contact with each other by thermal expansion of the thermal expansion member (4), thereby enabling heat transfer.</p> |
