摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the deterioration of the operability of an arm in an operation device including a three-position enabling switch and an arm operation method using the operation device.SOLUTION: An operation device 30 includes: a rod-like body 3 which may be gripped by a worker's hand; an insertion part 37 attached to an arm 11; and an enabling switch connected with a control device of a robot 10 and having a lever 34 which may move between first to third positions, the enabling switch which is turned off when the lever 34 is positioned at the first position or the third position and is turned on when the lever 34 is positioned at the second position. The lever 34 is provided at a side part of a body 31 in one longitudinal end part 31b of the body 31 so as to have a predetermined size and is pulled in an inner direction of the body 31 thereby being moved from the first position to the third position.
