PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation protector for terminal for easily performing protection insulation of the terminal.SOLUTION: An insulation protector 10 protects insulation of a crimp terminal 9t removed from a terminal block 7 so as to prevent the crimp terminal 9t from being erroneously brought into contact with a first conductive fitting 71 provided in the terminal block 7. The insulation protector 10 includes a C-shaped first wire holding part 1a and a strip-shaped first terminal insulation part 1b. The first wire holding part 1a is capable of leading a wire 9w including the crimp terminal 9t in its end from the outer peripheral direction thereof and holding the wire 9w. In the first terminal insulation part 1b, a portion of the first wire holding part 1a extends in an axial direction of the wire 9w. The first terminal insulation part 1b is capable of covering a contact surface of the crimp terminal 9t. By sliding the insulation protector 10 in the axial direction of the wire 9w, the first terminal insulation part 1b is capable of covering the contact surface of the crimp terminal 9t so as to prevent erroneous contact with the first conductive fitting 71.
