<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a degassing device capable of surely preventing entrainment caused by wave rising or eddy of a molten metal surface of a molten metal, and capable of sufficiently removing hydrogen gas or inclusions in the molten metal with a simple structure.SOLUTION: The degassing device comprises: a degassing chamber for storing the molten metal; and an agitation body for agitating the stored molten metal. The degassing chamber comprises: a tank body formed into an approximately rectangular parallelepiped and having an inflow part and an outflow part; and buffle plates provided in a projecting state on side wall faces of the tank body. The buffle plates are provided on the respective side wall faces of the tank body, and among the four buffle plates, at least one of them has projection length different from that of others.</p> |
