<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contact between a rack of a rack shaft and a housing.SOLUTION: A steering device includes: a pinion shaft 22 which has a pinion 22P and rotates on the basis of steering conducted in a steering section; a rack shaft 21 which has a rack 21R that engages with the pinion 22P of the pinion shaft 22 and moves a steered section; a rack housing 31 which houses at least the rack shaft 21; and a rack support section 70 which has a driven section (a gear) that receives the rack 21R of the rack shaft 21 to be driven and causes the driven part to contact with the rack 21R to maintain a clearance between an axial end part of the rack housing 31R and the rack 21R.</p> |
