An image reading apparatus may include a conveyor. The conveyor may include a first roller, a second roller, and a contact portion. The first roller may be configured to rotate on a first axis. One of the second roller and the contact portion may be disposed on an upstream side of the first axis along a conveyance path, and other of the second roller and the contact portion may be disposed on a downstream side of the first axis along the conveyance path. A first distance between a surface of the first roller and a surface of the second roller and a second distance between a surface of the first roller and a surface of the contact portion may be fixed.

1. An image reading apparatus comprising:
a housing comprises:
a first guide configured to define a first conveyance path and guide a first medium along the first conveyance path; anda second guide configured to define a second conveyance path and guide a second medium along the second conveyance path; a conveyor configured to convey the first medium along the first conveyance path, and configured to convey the second medium from the second conveyance path to a junction with the first conveyance path and along the first conveyance path downstream from the junction, wherein in a direction perpendicular to a conveyance direction along the first conveyance path downstream from the junction, a width of the second guide is less than a maximum width of the first guide; and a reader disposed along the first conveyance path downstream from the junction and configured to read image data from the first medium and the second medium; wherein the conveyor comprises:
a first roller disposed along the first conveyance path downstream from the junction and configured to rotate on a first axis, and configured to contact a first surface of the second medium;a second roller disposed along the first conveyance path on a side opposite the first roller downstream from the junction and configured to rotate on a second axis parallel to the first axis, the second axis being separated from the first axis by a distance greater than a sum of radii of the first roller and the second roller; anda contact portion disposed along the first conveyance path on the same side as the second roller downstream from the junction, wherein one of the second roller and the contact portion is disposed on an upstream side of the first axis along the first conveyance path, and the other of the second roller and the contact portion is disposed on a downstream side of the first axis along the first conveyance path; and wherein a first distance between a surface of the first roller and a surface of the second roller and a second distance between a surface of the first roller and a surface of the contact portion are fixed.
