The present invention relates to a light-weight solar module and a manufacturing method therefor, and more particularly, to a solar module having a light weight and improved strength by jointing a front substrate and an intermediate material, and a manufacturing method therefor comprising the steps for: disposing, on the front substrate, a first filler material formed of ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) or olefin; disposing, on the first filler material, an intermediate material formed of a polymer material; disposing, on the intermediate material, a second filler material formed of EVA or olefin; disposing a solar cell on the second filler material and then connecting electrodes of the solar cell with each other or disposing, on the second filler material, a plurality of solar cells of which electrodes are connected with each other; disposing, on the solar cell, a third filler material formed of EVA or olefin; and disposing a rear substrate on the third filler material. |
