PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer in which a head unit mounted with a print head can be easily and smoothly attached/detached to/from a carriage even in the case of installing the head unit at various angles not parallel with a floor surface or at a high position.SOLUTION: A printer includes: a head unit 83 in which a print head 76 is mounted on a head plate 94; and a small carriage for holding the head unit 83. The head unit 83 is engaged with a slide rail 146 formed at the small carriage 82 at an engagement protrusion 147, and the head unit 83 can be freely attached and detached to/from the small carriage in a sliding manner when attaching and detaching the head unit to the small carriage. |
