PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a prior art, that is, to provide a water leakage prevention method and a water leakage prevention structure for appropriately preventing water leakage at an intersection with relatively less labor and cost and dispensing with a process after concrete placing.SOLUTION: The inventive water leakage prevention method is a method for preventing water leakage flowing in a member thickness direction at "an intersection" where a construction joint face crosses a crack induction part in a concrete member. A water stop is installed so as to be substantially orthogonal to the member thickness direction and so as to cross the construction joint face. In the intersection, a water leakage prevention material is installed so as to cross the water stop and the construction joint face and is connected with the water stop. A vertical waterproof material is connected with the water leakage prevention material and installed so as to be positioned on the outflow side of water leakage of the water leakage prevention material in the intersection. |
