<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplification device that keeps efficiency intact and a transmission device that includes such an amplification device.SOLUTION: An amplification device 10 provided includes an input terminal 8, a first amplifier 1, an output terminal 9, a variable impedance section 2, a second amplifier 3, a reference impedance element 4, an amplitude comparator 5, a phase comparator 6 and a control section 7. The amplitude comparator generates an amplitude comparison signal depending on a result of comparison between the amplitude of a first output signal and the amplitude of a second output signal, and the phase comparator generates a phase comparison signal depending on a result of comparison between the phase of the first output signal and the phase of the second output signal. The control section controls the impedance of the variable impedance section on the basis of the amplitude comparison signal and the phase comparison signal such that an impedance at a point between the first amplifier and the variable impedance section approaches a predetermined value.</p> |
