<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a negative electrode for an N-type thermocouple which is capable of not only keeping a highly accurate thermal electromotive force initial characteristic for a long time in temperature measurement under a high temperature condition, but also holding resistance against oxidation under a high temperature condition; an alloy for a thermocouple negative electrode; and a thermocouple arranged by use thereof.SOLUTION: A negative electrode for an N-type thermocouple is formed by a Ni-Si alloy. The alloy includes 3-5 mass% of silicon (Si), 0.05-0.5 mass% of cobalt (Co), 0.05-0.2 mass% of iron (Fe) and 0.01-0.1 mass% of aluminum (Al) with the balance including nickel (Ni).</p> |
