<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase an energy absorption amount at an initial stage of seating person restraint and to suppress output of gas of an inflator.SOLUTION: The air bag device comprises: a vent hole for discharging gas; a slide tether for transiting the vent hole from an opening state to a closing state, and then transiting to the opening state by changing its state between a relaxation state and an extension state; and a slide tether cover for guiding the slide tether. The other end of a trunk of the slide tether in the longitudinal direction is fixed in a direction going to a fit part of an inflator from the vent hole and constitutes a first fulcrum, a fork part constitutes a second fulcrum and to which the other end part of the slide tether cover is fixed, terminal end parts of leg piece parts are respectively fixed and constitute a third fulcrum. When the air bag is inflated and expanded, the vent hole state is transited by force actuating to an air bag expansion direction generated from the first and third fulcrums as origins, and by force actuating to a direction crossing to the expansion direction generated from the second fulcrum as an origin.</p> |
