<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phenol resin molding material which uses a phenol polymer and is improved in moldability.SOLUTION: A phenol polymer is obtained by oxidation copolymerization of phenol with a phenol derivative in a mixed solvent of an organic solvent and an aqueous solution with an oxidation-reduction enzyme as a catalyst. The phenol derivative has a 5-7C linear alkyl group or a benzyl group, and the oxidation-reduction enzyme is a peroxidase or an oxidase. The phenol polymer is usable, as it is, as a molding material, and may be blended with a filler and a hardening agent.</p> |
