<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a copolyester resin in which while a sulfonic acid metal salt inclusion aromatic dicarboxylic acid for having water dispersibility is possessed, heat resistance is excellent.SOLUTION: A production method of a copolyester resin includes: a first process in which an acid component is a terephthalic acid component and sulfonic acid metal base inclusion aromatic dicarboxylic acid component, 10-40 mol% of a spiroglycol component, 0-40 mol% of a propylene oxide addition product of bisphenol A, and 50-200 mol% of ethylene glycol are subjected to an esterification reaction or an ester exchange reaction when based on a mol number of the total acid component, and in performing a polycondensation reaction, the terephthalic acid component and the spiroglycol are preliminarily subjected to an esterification reaction or an ester exchange reaction; and a second process in which a reaction product of the first process and the sulfonic acid metal base inclusion aromatic dicarboxylic acid component are subjected to an esterification reaction or an ester exchange reaction, and a copolyester resin and a water dispersion are obtained by the production method.</p> |
