Dental material comprising a polymerizable bisphosphonic acid of Formula I: wherein A represents an (m+2)-times substituted aliphatic C1-C8 radical which in each case is terminally bonded to the —CH2—P(O)(OH)2 groups, X in each case independently is missing or represents —O—, —S—, —CO—O—, —O—CO—, —CO—NR1—, —NR1—CO—, —O—CO—NR1— or —NR1—CO—O—, Q in each case independently is missing or represents an (n+1)-valent linear or branched aliphatic C1-C20 radical which can be interrupted by —O—, —S—, —CO—O—, —O—CO—, —CO—NR1—, —NR1—CO—, —O—CO—NR1— or —NR1—CO—O—, wherein, if Q is missing, the X adjacent to it must also be missing, PG in each case independently represents a polymerizable group selected from vinyl groups, allyl groups, CH2═CR2—CO—O—, CH2═CR2—CO—NR3— and R4O—CO—C(═CH2)—CH2—O—, R1 in each case independently represents H, CH3 or C2H5, R2 in each case independently represents H or CH3, R3 and R4 in each case independently represent H, a C1-C10 alkyl radical, phenyl or mesityl, n is in each case independently 1, 2 or 3 and m is 1 to 5. |
