1. An image reading apparatus, comprising:
a substructure; a first opening and closing body that opens and closes the upper portion of the substructure; and a second opening and closing body that opens and closes the upper portion of the first opening and closing body, wherein the first opening and closing body includes a first locking member which is positioned at a locking position that locks the first opening and closing body with respect to the substructure when the second opening and closing body is in an opened state, which is positioned in a locking release position that releases the locking of the first opening and closing body with respect to the substructure when the second opening and closing body is in a closed state, and which is displaced between the locking position and the locking release position by sliding in a direction intersecting the vertical direction, and a second locking member which is positioned at a locking position that locks the second opening and closing body with respect to the first opening and closing body when the first opening and closing body is in an opened state, which is positioned in a locking release position that releases the locking of the second opening and closing body with respect to the first opening and closing body when the first opening and closing body is in a closed state, and which is switchable between the locking position and the locking release position by rotating. |
