The present invention addresses the problem of poor operability. This electronic device is provided with: a normal mode in which operations are executed on the basis of an operation instruction; and a voice mode in which content of operations is guided by voice on the basis of a voice guidance instruction, and operations are executed on the basis of an operation instruction. The electronic device is equipped with: a mode switching unit which switches between the normal mode and the voice mode in accordance with a switching operation; and an operation execution unit which, in the normal mode and the voice mode, receives an operation instruction from an input unit, and executes an operation. In the normal mode, the operation execution unit receives, as the operation instruction, 2 touches in a same operation region of the input unit within a time period shorter than a first threshold time period, and executes the operation. In the voice mode, the operation execution unit receives, as the voice guidance instruction, a first touch in an operation region of the input unit, executes voice guidance, receives, as the operation instruction, a second touch in the same operation region of the input unit, said second touch following the first touch within a time period shorter than a second threshold time period which is longer than the first threshold time period, and executes the operation. |
