Disclosed are an embedded capacitive touch screen and display apparatus. The touch screen comprises an array substrate and an opposed substrate. The array substrate comprises pixels defined by grid lines and data lines, a common electrode corresponding to each pixel, and all common electrodes being grouped into multiple first common electrode groups arranged in a row direction and multiple second common electrode groups arranged in a column direction; and multiple metal lines disposed on a same metal layer, all metal lines being grouped into multiple first metal line groups arranged in a row direction and multiple second metal line groups arranged in a column direction. The first metal line groups in a same row direction are electrically connected to each other, and are electrically connected to the first common electrode groups in corresponding positions respectively, to form a driving line. The second metal line groups in a same column direction are electrically connected to each other, and are electrically connected to the second common electrode groups in corresponding positions respectively, to form a sensing line.
