A generation unit (28B) generates a first display image based on an image signal output from an imaging element, and a second display image based on first and second image signals. An identification unit (28C) identifies an image area that satisfies both first and second conditions in the second display image generated by the generation unit (28B). The image area identified by the identification unit (28C) in the second display image is displayed so as to be distinguishable from other areas. Here, the first condition represents a condition where the degree of contrast is equal to or greater than an example of a first prescribed value, and the second condition represents a condition where the degree of matching between the first image and the second image is equal to or greater than a second prescribed value. |
