<p>Disclosed is a method for receiving and sending locating information based on dual tone multi-frequency (DTMF). The method comprises: a first terminal initiating to locate the location thereof after establishing a call with a second terminal; the first terminal encoding locating information into a DTMF signal and sending same to a second terminal; the second terminal decoding the received DTMF signal; and when it is determined that the DTMF signal is the locating information, the second terminal saving the locating information. Also disclosed at the same time is a device for receiving and sending locating information based on DTMF. By means of the solution of the present invention, a terminal can successfully send locating information thereof to the other party without data traffic or WIFI and can improve the security and stability of sending locating information; and in addition, the method in the present invention can also enable the sending of locating information to be more hidden, and a sending trace cannot be queried in an information sending record after the sending is completed, thereby protecting a user very well.</p> |
