PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improvement agent for FD (functional dyspepsia), particularly upper abdomen discomfort such as nausea caused by deterioration in gastric emptying ability due to stress.SOLUTION: The functional dyspepsia improvement agent is provided which contains, as an active ingredient, an azulene derivative represented by the general formula (I) (in the formula (I), Rrepresents an alkyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 6 and Rand Reach independently represent a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 6). An anti-stress-related gastric emptying retardation improvement agent is also provided which contains the azulene derivative represented by the general formula (I) as an active ingredient. |
