PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support a surgeon to determine a portion to be extirpated when an extirpating operation to a tubular organ is performed.SOLUTION: A surgery support device 3 comprises: an internal organ area extract means 33 for extracting a tubular organ area from a three-dimensional image D including a captured image of a tubular organ and a blood vessel dominating the tubular organ; a region of interest setting means 34 for setting a region of interest in the tubular organ area; a blood vessel area extract means 35 for extracting a blood vessel region dominating the tubular organ from the three-dimensional image; a bifurcation structure extract means 36 for extracting a bifurcation structure of a blood vessel from the blood vessel area; and a dominating blood vessel identification means 37 for identifying a dominating blood vessel area dominating the region of interest in the blood vessel area by using a positional relationship between an endpoint of the bifurcation structure and the region of interest. |
