PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make subsequent operation of a handle possible while preventing components in the periphery of a window and the handle from breaking when an excessive operation force is input from the handle in a window opening and closing device.SOLUTION: When opening a window, a lock of a take-up drum is released by pressing an opening button and a wire wound over the take-up drum is paid out, to open the window. Then, rotation force transmission from the take-up drum to a take-up handle is blocked in a clutch structure. If rotation in the take-up direction of the take-up handle is tried with a force larger than an engagement force by a plate spring 24 after the window is closed, the plate spring 24 is deformed through being pressed by a clutch 25 which rotates in the take-up direction, the clutch 25 and a clutch guide 23 rotate relatively, and a convex part 25b of the clutch 25 transfers from the left side to the right side of a central mountain shape of the plate spring 24 and contacts to a relative rotation restriction part 23g of the clutch guide 23. At this moment, the plate spring 24 returns back to the original shape (mountain shape at the center). Window closing is notified by this operation. |
