PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively restrain insects from entering into a translucent cover in a lighting apparatus having the translucent cover that can be attached to and detached from an apparatus body.SOLUTION: A lighting apparatus 1 comprises an apparatus body 2, and a detachable and attachable cover 5. The apparatus body 2 has a packing 6 provided at a portion contacting the cover 5, and plural protrusion parts 25 projecting from the surface of the packing 6. The cover 5 has recess parts 52 provided at a portion contacting the apparatus body 2 and at a position corresponding to the protrusion parts 25. Depth of the recess part 52 is larger than projection height of the protrusion part 25 from the surface of the packing 6. According to this constitution, when the protrusion part 25 is fitted with the recess part 52, a peripheral edge 50 of the cover 5 is pressed to the packing 6, and a gap between them is eliminated. Therefore, entrance of insects into the cover 5 can be effectively restrained. |
