<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable surface mounting piezoelectric oscillator which can deal with solder crack, while dealing with compaction.SOLUTION: A surface mounting piezoelectric oscillator comprises: a base 1 constituted of a rectangular ceramic multilayer substrate having a housing section and an exterior section; an integrated circuit element 2; and a piezoelectric vibration element 3. On the bottom surface of the base 1, first external terminals GT1, GT2 formed along the substantially entire length of the short side while facing in the long side direction, and second external terminals GT3, GT4 formed only along the center of the long side while facing in the short side direction are provided. The first external terminal consists of an external terminal for power supply and an external terminal for ground, the second external terminal consists of an external terminal for output and other external terminal, and the first external terminal is formed with a larger area when compared with the second external terminal.</p> |
