The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a sintered bearing having a bearing gap between the bearing surface formed on the inner periphery thereof and a shaft to be supported. The manufacturing method includes: a compression molding process (P2) for obtaining a green compact by compression-molding a base powder made by mixing a partially dispersed alloy powder (11) as a main material having a copper powder partially dispersed in an iron powder with a low melting point metal powder (14) and a solid lubricant powder; and a sintering process (P3) for obtaining a sintered compact (4") by sintering the green compact (4').
