The invention relates to a device (1) for limiting torque for the secure transmission of a rotation between an input base (2) and an output base (3) that said device comprises, including at least one driving bolt (5) forming a member which breaks by shearing if the torque exceeds a predetermined threshold. Said device has an intermediate base (4) which is driven by the input base (2) and which in turn drives the output base (3), the at least one bolt (5) provides the drive between the intermediate base (4) and the input base (2) or the output base (3), the intermediate base (4) comprises at least one means for locking by shape engagement with a retaining portion of the bolt (5), and the torque-limiting device (1) comprises more locking means than bolts (5).
