<p>A storage controller stores, in a first cache memory, a data block pertaining to a received write command as being in an indeterminate state, and transmits, to a storage device, an indeterminate write command to which is correlated the address of a logical area corresponding to a write destination complying with the write command, and which requests that a data block be stored in an indeterminate state. The storage device, having a nonvolatile memory configured from a plurality of physical areas, stores a data block pertaining to the indeterminate write command from the storage controller in a vacant physical area among the plurality of physical areas, and allocates the physical area to a logical area to which the physical area is to be allocated, as a physical area in an indeterminate state.</p> |
