<p> Surfactants are used in sorbitol-based microbial compositions It has been understood, however, that adding an ionic surfactant creates the problem of reducing the activity of microorganisms and bringing about lower diffusivity in soil and groundwater. This microbial composition comprises a polyhydric alcohol and a surfactant, and, more specifically, is characterized in comprising: 62-68 weight parts of one or more types of sugar alcohol selected from among sorbitol, mannitol, and xylitol; 8-10 weight parts of glycerin; 1-5 weight parts of a nonionic surfactant; and 22-25 weight parts of water.</p> |
