The present invention relates to a manhole which forms a depression prevention plate protruding to the outside from the outer peripheral surface of the tip end of the manhole body to prevent the manhole body from sinking. The main configuration of the present invention includes: a manhole body (10) which has the upper part open; a manhole cover (20) which closes the manhole body (10) by being arranged on the opening of the manhole body (10); and the depression prevention plate (30) protruding to the outside from the outer peripheral surface of the tip end of the manhole body (10). The depression prevention plate (30) is tilted by a predetermined angle to increase the thickness of an end integrated to the outer peripheral surface of the manhole body and narrow the thickness of the other end extended to the outside.
