PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply circuit which suppresses power consumption under a light load where the load current is small, and capable of pseudo-current mode control.SOLUTION: A power supply circuit has a first feedback loop for feeding back the information of an output voltage Vout, and a second feedback loop for feeding back an inductor current IL as the information of a load current Iout. When the load current Iout is larger than a predetermined threshold, a PWM signal is created using a signal of the first feedback loop and a feedback current signal from the second feedback loop. When the load current Iout goes below a predetermined threshold, the second feedback loop is interrupted, and a PWM signal is created using the data of the feedback current signal held before the interruption. |
